HOW TO MANAGE YOUR BIGCOMMERCE CATEGORY NAMES WITH THE WHOLESALE2B DROPSHIP APP

Now that you have installed the Wholesale2b BigCommerce Dropship App in your store, you are ready to create your list of products to import to your store.

As you know, products can be categorised in your store to arrange them in a user friendly manner, making the shopping experience easy for your buyers, and easy to find the products they are looking for.

To help you manage your categories, we have created a new category mapping page. This page will help you link the supplier categories to match the categories in your store. For example if you wish to link 2 or 3 different supplier categories to one single category from your store, then you would simply enter the same store category name next to those 2 or 3 supplier categories.

To access this new page simply login to your wholesale2b.com account and click on the top green button BIGCOMMERCE PLAN and then click on the link "Category Mapping" as shown in the screenshot below.

On the category mapping page you can enter your desired category names in the boxes next to each supplier category name. By default the categories which will be used are the ones provided by each supplier, however in most cases those will be different from the categories in your store. In this page you can link the supplier categories to the category names that you wish to use in your store. This will allow you to keep the integrity of your store categories.

You can refer to the screenshot below to see where you can MAP your store categories with the supplier category names. Once you make your changes and clicked SAVE, the changes will be pushed to your store during the next daily push schedule so you will see the changes in your store after 24 hours.
